The main objective of IFIA Executive Committee meeting held biannually upon the convocation of IFIA President is to endorse a unanimous agreement on the issues presented in the form of agenda during the meeting. Executive Committee members, elected by General Assembly for two years, shall reach the unanimous agreement on the presented issues.

IFIA President is obliged to deliver a report on the activities performed within the budget and means of IFIA for strengthening IFIA position at a global level.

Admission of new members is one of the obligations that falls under the jurisdiction of EXCO members. Moreover, the projects proposed by either the President or the members need to be presented in the meeting in order to examine the possibility of their implementation. Organization of the international events in the field of invention and innovation is the other subject matter that must gain the approval of EXCO members.
