IFIA 49th Executive Committee Meeting Held on August 2024 with the following agendas:
August 2024– The International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA) successfully convened its 49th Executive Committee Meeting, during which a significant proposal was discussed:

1. IFIA Activities Report 2023
The committee reviewed the comprehensive IFIA Activities Report for the year 2023. The report highlighted the various initiatives and programs undertaken by IFIA to promote innovation and support inventors worldwide. Key accomplishments included successful international exhibitions, educational workshops, and the launch of several new initiatives aimed at fostering collaboration among member organizations.
The committee acknowledged the efforts made in expanding IFIA’s reach and impact across different regions. The activities were aligned with IFIA’s strategic goals, contributing significantly to the promotion of innovation on a global scale.

2. IFIA Financial Report 2023
The IFIA Financial Report for 2023 was presented, detailing the organization’s financial performance over the year. 3. Review of Five Requests for IFIA Membership

b. Leaders Foundation for Administrative Sciences and Development. (CORRESPONDING MEMBER)
c. Merit Nate Foundation for Sustainable Development. (CORRESPONDING MEMBER)
d. College of International Transport and Logistics at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport. (CORRESPONDING MEMBER)
e. The RIT Innovation & Artificial Intelligence Research & Consultancies CO. L.L.C. (FULL MEMBER)
The committee reviewed six new membership requests submitted to IFIA. Each application was evaluated based on the organization’s alignment with IFIA’s mission, their contributions to the innovation ecosystem, and their potential to actively participate in IFIA activities.
After thorough discussion, the committee approved four of the five requests.
Decision: Five new members were approved.
4. Report on IFIA Signing of MOU with Partners
a-Vietnam, India Partner to Foster Innovation Ecosystem
b- In an innovative and disruptive initiative by the IFIA-ABIPIR LATAM Office, the “Brazil-China Cooperation Hub
c- IFIA Bharat and Posspole Unite to Boost India’s Innovation
The committee was briefed on the recent signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with several strategic partners. These partnerships aim to enhance collaboration in areas such as innovation promotion, intellectual property management, and technology transfer.
The MOUs were signed with organizations across different regions, reflecting IFIA’s commitment to building a global network of partners. The committee emphasized the importance of these partnerships in achieving IFIA’s long-term goals.

5. Revival of the IFIA European Network
A proposal was presented to revive the IFIA European Network under the management of Mr.Herbert Boos, the president of the German Inventors Association. The network aims to reinvigorate collaboration among European inventors’ associations and enhance the visibility and impact of IFIA in Europe.
The committee discussed the strategic importance of this initiative and the potential benefits it could bring in terms of increased cooperation, shared resources, and unified representation of European inventors.
