No 25, IFIA Virtual Committee meeting on May 2019
IFIA 25rd Virtual Executive Committee meeting was organized on May 12, 2019, to review the new membership requests submitted to the IFIA Secretariat by The Inventors School of the Philippines (ISP) from PHILIPPINES which gained the majority of votes and were admitted as IFIA corresponding members.
The Inventors School of the Philippines (ISP) wants to impart the value of product creation or invention to the youth and also capacitate them how to possibly turn their inventions or product creations into their own business. ISP nurtures product creativity, inventiveness, and innovation and also goes the extra mile of teaching them the basics of product patenting and basic business development.
Since its establishment almost three years ago, ISP has been equipping innovative Filipino minds from as young as four years old to go into product creation by nurturing their innate creativity. In addition to inventiveness, the institution imparts on them the value of creating products that have commercial value in order to generate the potential of being an enterprise. Through entrepreneurship, ISP believes that local product creators and inventors can be sustainable and will have more opportunities in the future to create more products or inventions.
