IFIA Supports the Regional Center for Vocational Education in Nisko in Recognition of Its Innovations
On June 27, 2025, the students, teachers, and staff of the Regional Center for Vocational Education (RCEZ) in Nisko gathered for a formal ceremony marking the official end of the 2024/2025 school year. The event took place in the school’s sports hall and brought together the entire school community in a spirit of pride and reflection.
The solemnity of the occasion was underscored by the presence of the School’s Standard-Bearer as well as numerous invited guests representing key local institutions and community sectors. Among the attendees were representatives of the County Council, the Municipal and City Office of Nisko, the Military Recruitment Center, the County Police Headquarters, the State Fire Service, a local military engineering unit, a regional carpentry enterprise, and the Parents’ Council. Their attendance lent additional significance to the event and served as a testament to the respect and recognition afforded to the school’s year-long efforts and achievements.

The ceremony commenced with the singing of the national anthem, Mazurek Dąbrowskiego. In his address, Director Wacław Piędel extended congratulations to the school community for their accomplishments across multiple fields. He expressed gratitude to students, parents, and teaching staff for their dedication and commitment throughout the academic year.
The formal segment of the event continued with the awarding of certificates and book prizes to students who achieved an average grade of 4.75 or higher. This was followed by the presentation of diplomas and special awards to particularly talented students who distinguished themselves in competitions and academic Olympiads at the local, national, and international levels.

A highlight of the ceremony was the reading of an official letter addressed to the RCEZ community by Mr. Alireza Rastegar, President of the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA). In the letter, he stated:
“In recognition of your Center’s exceptional accomplishments, I am honored to award two official IFIA Honorary Diplomas and two IFIA Gold Medals to Director Piędel and Mr. Marian Chrapko, as a symbol of our appreciation for your commitment to supporting young inventors. Furthermore, three selected inventions developed by your students will be presented at the International Invention Festival in Silicon Valley, with all associated costs fully covered by IFIA. We are proud of our partnership and look forward to strengthening our cooperation in the coming years.”
The IFIA Honorary Diplomas and Gold Medals were ceremonially presented to Director Wacław Piędel and Mr. Marian Chrapko by the Chairman of the County Council, Mr. Sylwester Daśko.
Students actively involved in the Student Council were recognized for their meaningful contributions to school life. Awards were also conferred upon the most outstanding athletes, acknowledging their achievements and dedication in representing the school in sporting events. Additionally, three top-performing students pursuing the profession of electrical technician received special distinctions sponsored by an energy company. One student from the Vocational School First Degree received exceptional recognition for achieving 100% attendance throughout three years of study, without missing a single class.

The ceremony was not only a celebration marking the end of the school year but also a demonstration that innovation, creativity, and student dedication are integral to the identity of RCEZ. The recognition extended by the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations, along with the opportunity to present student-developed projects in Silicon Valley, affirms the school’s growing international reputation and its unwavering commitment to excellence in education and innovation.
