The World Invention Innovation Contest (WiC) returns for its 11th edition in 2025, proudly hosted by the Asia Invention Association (AIA) and Korea Invention News (KINEWS). This prestigious international event celebrates creativity and technological innovation across all sectors, providing a global platform for inventors and thinkers to showcase their ideas and solutions.

Application Deadline: July 30, 2025
Award Ceremony: August 24, 2025 (Online)

WiC 2025 aims to promote the spirit of invention by recognizing and supporting creative ideas that address real-world challenges. Whether you’re a student, an independent innovator, or a professional researcher, WiC offers a unique opportunity to present your work to an international jury and audience.

In response to global participation and accessibility, WiC 2025 will be conducted entirely online. Participants from around the world can submit their entries digitally, and winners will be announced and honored during the online award ceremony. All awardees will receive their official certificates, medals, and other recognitions via international postal delivery.

WiC 2025 is open to a wide spectrum of participants:

• Students (Elementary to Doctoral level)

• Individual Inventors and Innovators

• Professors, Researchers, and Scientists

• Companies, Institutes, and Organizations

Submissions are accepted across multiple fields, including but not limited to:

• Engineering & Electronics

• Health & Medicine

• Consumer Products

• Transportation & Machinery

• ICT & Telecommunications

• Education, Sports, Textiles, and more

All entries will be judged based on their originality, technological innovation, practicality, and market potential. Evaluations will be conducted entirely based on the content submitted in the application forms. The panel consists of senior inventors, professors, patent professionals, and international experts affiliated with the Korea Invention Academy and organizing institutions.

Entries may include:

• Registered or unregistered intellectual property (e.g., patents, designs, utility models)

• Original and visually developed creative inventions

• Practical or conceptual solutions addressing various fields and industries

Each entry must be submitted with a separate form. Communication regarding the results, invoicing, and further steps will be handled through email.
