International Competition for IFIA INV Title Holders – 3 to 5 July 2026
INV Members Competition 2026
Each organization endeavors to respect its members, and considering the high status of innovators within IFIA, the federation strives to give them special recognition. Based on this approach, IFIA decided to hold an online event in 2021 with the enthusiastic participation of INV Title Holders. Now, IFIA is going to hold the 6th Edition of the International Invention and Innovation Competition for all IFIA INV Title Holders who have obtained the INV Title Certificate from around the world.
Objectives
The main goal of organizing this event is to praise and honor IFIA INV title holders and to expand the culture of invention and innovation. This event is designed for inventors from all over the world who have received the INV Title and the INV Certificate from the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA) in Switzerland. Eligible inventors can register for this worldwide fair free of charge.
*Please note that each INV title holder is allowed to submit only one invention to this event.
Date and Time
The 6th international competition for inventors and innovators will be held virtually and online from 3 to 5 July 2026 for the INV Title Holders from all around the world.
The registration deadline for this event is June 10, 2026, and applications submitted after the registration deadline will not be accepted.
The Required Documents
- Presenting the INV membership certificate,
- Submitting the registration form,
- Sending 3 to 5 minutes of video about the presented invention and innovation in English.
Registration and Document Submission Procedure
After completing the registration form and preparing the required video presentation (3 to 5 minutes in English), applicants must upload the following files to Google Drive (without password protection):

Important: The uploaded folder/file must be accessible publicly or via link sharing, and must not require any password or access request.
Once the upload is completed, the applicant must send the following items to the official IFIA email address: inv@ifia.com

Applications without a valid Google Drive link or with restricted access will not be reviewed.
Important Remark
Only IFIA INV Title Holders are eligible to register in the 6th edition who have gained the INV title from all around the world.
The Judges' Procedure
The inventions and innovations will be presented to the International Jury of IFIA, which consists of 35 judges from 30 countries, and they will evaluate the applications submitted for the event.
Results Announcement
After reviewing all of the applications, the jury will announce the results, and the applicants will be notified of the decisions. Finally, if the required quorum is obtained based on the judging criteria, gold, silver, and bronze medals would be presented to the best inventions and innovations participating in the competition.
Receiving Awards
All winners in this event will receive a certificate (Gold, Silver and Bronze) issued by IFIA via e-mail enrolled at the time of registration in electronic format. If the winners want to receive the original certificate, they would have to proceed through the local federation representatives in their countries participating in this event.
It should be noted that the results of the competition and the type of medal will be stated in the electronic certificate. There will not be a physical medal whatsoever.

Jury Board Criteria
- Has the inventor gained national, international patent, or Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT)?
- Is the invention green or sustainable?
- At what stage of development is it? Is it a Poster? Poster with 3D image? Animated film? Prototype made? An invention ready for market?
- Has the invention been granted scientific certification?
- Is there a public demand for the invention?
- Does the invention involve high technology?
- Is the invention more useful than the existing products?
- Does the invention have an economic impact or potential for economic impact?
- Is the invention ready to be commercialized?
- Has the invention been awarded an international prize?
In order to participate in this event, it is mandatory to send a 3 to 5 minutes video – in English describing and demonstrating the invention before June 10, 2026.
