Kuwait Science Club Held the 14th International Invention Fair of the Middle East
The 14th edition of the International Invention Fair of the Middle East (IIFME), held from February 4th to 7th, 2024, was meticulously organized by the Kuwait Science Club under the esteemed Patronage of His Highness, the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. Collaborating with prestigious entities such as the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA), World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), UNESCO, and the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva, this event garnered significant attention at local, regional, and international levels.
The convention served as a unique platform, emphasizing the ingenuity and creativity of both youths and universities, while concurrently showcasing the advancements in inventions and innovations. Furthermore, it played a pivotal role in highlighting Kuwait’s modernity and its commitment to fostering and supporting inventors and participants in the realm of public service.
During the opening and closing ceremonies, IFIA President Alireza Rastegar was in attendance alongside participants, ministers, and distinguished guests. Notably, the event saw participation from numerous countries, ministers, establishments, authorities, and companies, further enhancing its global significance.
The 14th IIFME successfully united 40 countries, including the United Kingdom, USA, Switzerland, China, Spain, Thailand, Egypt, Qatar, Iran, Iraq, and Kuwait. With over 200 inventions on display, the exhibition attracted a multitude of investors and private sector visitors.
