Summary
Invention exhibitions
The most important aim of the IFIA Office work is to increase the respect of IFIA and inventors. Therefore the participation of invention exhibitions was realized by IFIA Office world wide (14 cities) to commercialize inventions and to popularize inventors and to show IFIA activity. The booths for IFIA members were free of charge (except Salon of Geneva and IENA). The collective presentations were prepared (transportation, printing of posters, decoration etc.) by IFIA Office. The costs of all presentations were covered by IFIA Office.
IFIA sent out prizes (IFIA Cup, Lady Prize, ECO Prize and Gold Medal) on the occasion of 12 invention exhibitions. These prizes were cover by IFIA Office.
The Semifinals of World Cup of Computer Implemented Inventions were a special form of inventions presentations to widening the patent protection. The World Cup is a special IFIA project. IFIA Office was organized Asia-Africa-Australia Semifinal with National United University (Taiwan). The IFIA Office was organized the second Semifinal in Nuremberg together a Seminar about Computer Implemented Inventions. The costs of this Semifinal was covered by IFIA Office.
Conferences
The conference is a good tool for exchange information and to built personal contacts. IFIA Office organized two conference in Budapest covering all expenses (inclusive hotel costs of delegates, and fly ticket compensations).
Meetings
The meetings will form real IFIA community. IFIA Office organized ExCo meeting in Budapest covering hotel rooms for ExCo members. The second ExCo meeting was in Geneva. IFIA African Inventors’ Network was organized in Niamey with IFIA financial support.
The IFIA President met several VIP persons (innovation leaders, ministers, politics) in different countries. These meetings result better conditions for the IFIA members in own countries.

Mr. György Szilvásy Minister of Hungarian Prime Ministers’ Office received András Vedres IFIA President in Budapest. The IFIA President informed Mr. Szilvásy about the IFIA’s work to foster innovation, end he expressed his thanks to the Hungarian governmental support for the IFIA Office.

IFIA Financial Report
The Commission of the European Communities accepted IFIA’s viewpoint
IFIA Declaration 2007 (Budapest, January 22, 2007) expressed the necessity of Community patent in EU.
