The 16th International Invention and Innovation Show INTARG® 2023 was held in Poland, Katowice on May 24-25, 2023.
The 16th edition of INTARG was held by the IFIA official member, Euro Business Haller, in the International Congress Centre MCK Katowice – location of the most renowned and vital business events in Poland, May 24-25, 2023. This event was held under the patronage of the Polish Ministry of Development and Economy, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA) in co-hosting with the city of Katowice. Katowice City co-hosts the show and is the first city in Middle-East Europe to receive the European City of Science title in 2024. The show serves as a platform for participants to present their creative ideas, inventions, and technological advancements in various fields such as science, technology, engineering, and design. It provides an opportunity for inventors to network, collaborate, and gain recognition for their work.
INTARG® features a wide range of exhibits and presentations, including prototypes, models, and demonstrations of cutting-edge technologies. Participants can interact with visitors, investors, potential partners, and industry experts to discuss their projects and explore opportunities for commercialization or further development.
INTARG 2023 prepared some parallel programs for Inventors and innovators during the event. INTARG Invention Contest, INTARG Leader of Innovation Contest, Conferences include discussion panels with representatives of science and business, International B2B meetings (International Matchmaking Event INTARG 2023 organized by Enterprise Europe Network, INTARG’ partner, with a business support network in 60 countries), Brokerage meetings of BNI (the most significant international business organization “Model of synergy between science and business based on recommendations”), INTARG EKO exhibition zone (green technologies in energy, industry, transport, and everyday life).
IFIA award committee selected two of the most figurative inventions after evaluating the nominated inventors by the jury president and the award committee representative. The winners of the IFIA Award are the Amazon AWS Team for the Invention “Amazon Monitron” from Poland and the National Institute for Research and Petrochemistry – ICECHIM team for the Invention “Process and Absorbent material for absorption of organic solutions” from Romania.
INTARG® aims to promote innovation, encourage entrepreneurship, and facilitate the transfer of technology from the lab to the market. By bringing together inventors and industry professionals, the event serves as a catalyst for collaboration and the exchange of ideas, ultimately driving economic growth and societal progress.
The 16th edition of INTARG® in 2023 specifically showcased the latest inventions and innovations that have the potential to make a significant impact on various industries and sectors. It provided a platform for inventors to gain exposure, attract investment, and explore commercialization opportunities for their breakthrough technologies.
