Innovation Triumphed in Katowice: INTARG® 2025 Concludes with Global Impact
INTARG® 2025 – INTERNATIONAL INVENTION AND INNOVATION SHOW, KATOWICE, POLAND
The 18th edition of INTARG® – International Invention and Innovation Show was successfully held from June 3 to 5, 2025, at the International Congress Centre in Katowice, Poland. Organized under the theme “We Support Innovativeness on the Way to Success”, this year’s event once again confirmed INTARG’s status as one of the most prestigious invention fairs in Europe and an influential hub for global innovation.
International Scope and Recognition
INTARG® 2025 was organized under the honorary patronage of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), with strong support from the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA), the Ministry of Development and Technology of Poland, and the Mayor of Katowice. The event attracted innovators, researchers, entrepreneurs, universities, R&D institutions, and representatives from business and industry from over 20 countries.
As a hybrid event, INTARG® provided an inclusive platform for both in-person and online participants to present their technologies, attend panel sessions, and engage in international matchmaking.
Exhibitions and Inventions
Throughout the three-day event, more than 300 inventions and innovative solutions were presented, spanning various sectors including:
- Engineering and industrial technology
- Environmental protection and green technologies
- Medicine and health sciences
- IT and digital solutions
- Education and social innovation


Notably, INTARG® 2025 featured a dedicated zone: INTARG® EKO, focusing on eco-innovations and sustainable development, emphasizing the global shift toward climate-conscious inventions and environmental responsibility.

A key highlight of the event was the INTARG® International Innovation Competition, which evaluated entries by an international jury composed of experts from science, business, and patent institutions. Prestigious recognitions were awarded, including:

- WIPO Medal for Inventors
- IFIA Best Invention Medal
- INTARG Platinum Award
- Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals in various categories
- Special awards from partner organizations and institutions
In addition, the Leader of Innovation® award and the Youth Innovation Competition spotlighted the creativity and excellence of emerging inventors and young scientists.
Conferences, Networking and Knowledge Exchange
INTARG® 2025 offered a rich program of international conferences, thematic panels, and workshops, addressing topics such as:

- Sustainable development and green innovation
- Funding opportunities for R&D
- Industry-academia cooperation models
The conference program was co-organized by WIPO, IFIA, the University of Warsaw, and the Silesian University of Technology, among others.
Furthermore, participants benefited from B2B matchmaking meetings, facilitated by the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), helping to connect inventors with potential investors, licensees, and partners.
IFIA’s Role
The International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA) proudly participated as a strategic partner of the event, supporting its mission to bridge innovation, commercialization, and global cooperation. IFIA representatives contributed to the jury panel, delivered presentations, and promoted inventor engagement through the federation’s global network.
Conclusion
INTARG® 2025 successfully demonstrated how innovation, when supported by international collaboration and institutional backing, can address contemporary global challenges.
