Got Creative Ideas?
Welcome to South Korea!

The International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA) is delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for inventors, entrepreneurs, and innovators seeking to expand their impact globally. South Korea’s OASIS program now offers a unique avenue for talented individuals to obtain the highly sought-after D-8-4 Technology and Business Start-up Visa.

About the OASIS Program The Overall Assistance for Start-up Immigration System (OASIS) is a comprehensive initiative designed to support foreign entrepreneurs aiming to establish technology-based businesses in South Korea. The program encompasses:

  • Specialized Courses: Gain insights into intellectual property, business management, and Korean immigration laws while earning points for your visa application.
  • Support Services: Assistance with corporate establishment and administrative procedures in Korea.
  • Point-Based Eligibility: Achieve the required 80 points through a combination of educational background, intellectual property ownership, and completion of OASIS courses.

Key Benefits of the Program

Participants in the OASIS program can apply for the D-10-2 Start-up Preparation Visa, which allows them up to two years to prepare their business. Successful candidates who meet all criteria, including establishing a corporation, can then transition to the D-8-4 visa, enabling them to operate their technology-based ventures in South Korea.
