IFIA Bharat Shined as Distinguished Participant at India Startup Festival (ISF 2023)

The pinnacle of the event arrived on the closing day when Anand Kannan, the National Director of IFIA Bharat, in conjunction with Mr. Soumanil Mukherjee from the office of the Principal Scientific Adviser (PSA), engaged in a pivotal meeting with Mr. N.S. Boseraju, the Karnataka Minister of Science. This high-profile interaction served as a platform to showcase the remarkable strides achieved by IFIA Bharat. Special attention was given to the forthcoming Invention & Innovation Fair scheduled for December. On August 12th, a pivotal Roundtable on Entrepreneurship and Rural Economic Development took center stage, delving into the challenges and opportunities inherent in promoting rural innovation. Anand Kannan played a pivotal role in this Roundtable, which united influential figures actively contributing to rural innovation. The event witnessed captivating presentations by industry stalwarts, including Mr. Osama. His presentation highlighted groundbreaking innovations, such as the ingenious utilization of the Charkha, a novel approach to internet education, and the integration of AR/VR technologies to enhance education in rural communities.
The collaborative spirit of the Roundtable discussions bore fruit in the form of a consensus to hold quarterly meetings, thereby propelling the initiatives and actions discussed during the event. Seizing the opportunity, Mr. Anand Kannan announced the launch of Innova Hube, a groundbreaking initiative in partnership with IFIA ABIPIR. This visionary initiative aims to facilitate meaningful collaborations between Indian and Brazilian startups. Innova Hube offers a unique platform for rural startups to explore synergies with their Brazilian counterparts, promising innovative solutions with a global impact.
The Roundtable also unveiled a report on Digital Rural Innovations, meticulously crafted by the Digital Empowerment Foundation under the guidance of Mr. Osama. This report, a testament to the potential of digital technologies in empowering rural communities, provides valuable insights and actionable recommendations for policymakers and stakeholders.
