FIA Bharat Partners with STEAM National Honor Society to Launch Global Student Research & Innovation Expo in Arizona
Arizona, USA
IFIA Bharat has officially entered into a strategic partnership with the STEAM National Honor Society (STEAM NHS), a U.S. based educational nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing student-led research, innovation, and scholarly excellence. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in expanding IFIA’s global footprint in youth innovation and research development.

The partnership is centered on the co-organization of the Research & Innovation Expo (RIE) in Arizona, with a long-term vision of transforming the initiative into a fully international platform within the next three years. The collaboration integrates STEAM NHS’s DRIPBL framework DREAM, RESEARCH, INNOVATE, PROBLEM/Project-Based Learning with IFIA Bharat’s extensive grassroots innovation ecosystem across India, including Atal Tinkering Labs, university networks, and sector-driven innovation initiatives in areas such as agri-tech and healthcare.
Dr. Rachna Nath, Director of STEAM NHS, emphasized the shared vision behind the alliance: I am proud to share our strategic collaboration with IFIA Bharat, an alliance rooted in a shared belief that innovation must begin early, be globally connected, and remain grounded in real-world problem solving. Through this MOU, STEAM NHS and IFIA Bharat come together to co-organize the Research & Innovation Expo (RIE) in Arizona, with a bold vision to grow it into a fully international platform within three years. This partnership bridges the DRIPBL framework with IFIA Bharat’s powerful grassroots innovation ecosystem, including Atal Tinkering Labs and university networks across India. Together, we are creating research pathways for students from Grades 2–16, enabling cross-border mentorship, global research exposure, and equitable participation. This collaboration is not about dominance, but shared leadership empowering young innovators to dream, research, innovate, and lead on a global stage.”
Anand Kannan, Director of IFIA Bharat, highlighted the strategic significance of the partnership: Partnering with STEAM NHS propels our mission to global heights, blending grassroots inventions, Atal Tinkering Labs, university research, and cutting-edge agri-tech and healthcare innovations. Co-hosting the RIE in Arizona and establishing an IFIA Bharat sub-chapter there will spark cross-border projects, equipping young minds to solve real-world challenges together.
As part of this alliance, STEAM NHS will establish an IFIA Bharat sub-chapter in Arizona, strengthening regional engagement while building bridges between students, educators, and innovation ecosystems in the United States and India.
The inaugural Research & Innovation Expo (RIE) in Arizona will serve as the launch platform for this collaboration, creating structured pathways for mentorship, joint research initiatives, academic publication opportunities, and international student exchange in innovation-driven disciplines.
This partnership opens new global opportunities for students worldwide fostering collaborative research, promoting equitable participation, and cultivating the next generation of innovators equipped to address real-world challenges through applied research and interdisciplinary thinking.
