IFIA BHARAT EMPOWERS INDIAN INNOVATORS TO SHINE ON THE GLOBAL STAGE
IFIA Bharat, a pioneering organization dedicated to fostering innovation and creativity among students and startups in India, recently made headlines as it facilitated the participation of two groups of promising innovators at prestigious international events.
In a remarkable display of ingenuity and talent, a delegation of young innovators represented India at the esteemed International Creativity and Innovation Awards (ICIA) 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand. Hosted from April 26 to 28, the event drew participation from 19 countries, featuring a total of 132 projects.
Anjuman Islam Saif Tayabji Girls High School, the sole Urdu medium school representative from India, left an indelible mark at the event by clinching the SILVER MEDAL for their groundbreaking project, the MAGLEV VERTICAL AXIS WIND TURBINE. Mentored by Alsaba Dhanse and Chhaya Marbate, the project, spearheaded by students Ansari Rushda Sameer Ahmed and Shaikh Umme Hani Shakir, garnered attention from none other than Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Samagam 2023.
IFIA Bharat’s pivotal role in enabling the participation of these young innovators underscores its commitment to nurturing innovation and creativity among students. Meanwhile, IFIA Bharat extended its support to promising Indian startups at the ICIA Startup Exchange Awards, held concurrently in Bangkok. MediSocio, a startup revolutionizing healthcare accessibility in rural Andhra Pradesh, secured the Titanium Award, while Trackion, focused on combating food wastage through AI, clinched the Gold Award.
The success of these startups not only highlights India’s prowess in innovation but also underscores IFIA Bharat’s role in providing invaluable opportunities for startups to gain international recognition and forge global partnerships.
