Expo 2020 Dubai will be the first World Expo held in the Middle East. With its central theme of Connecting Minds, Creating the Future and the subthemes of Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability, it is committed to convening the global community and inspiring people to collaborate towards creating a better future.
Expo 2020 is guided by the belief that innovation and progress are the result of people and ideas combining in new ways. The theme of Connecting Minds, Creating the Future recognizes that the creation of solutions to global problems demands readiness to reach out across geographies, institutional boundaries, industry clusters, cultures and disciplines.
Expo 2020 provides a one-of-a-kind global stage for showcasing and sharing novel solutions and demonstrating projects with the potential to transform the lives of people around the world.
Starting in 2016, Expo Live will offer Innovation Impact Grants to support projects in the areas of Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability.
Individual grant amounts will depend on the stage of maturity of a project, the intended duration and the extent of impacts at community level.

At this website, applicants can complete a registration process, and submit a short abstract explaining the challenge they are tackling, and the solution they propose. These abstracts will be assessed by an evaluation panel. Shortlisted applicants will be requested to submit a full proposal.
