The 17th edition of EUROINVENT – European Exhibition of Creativity and Innovation was successfully organized on-site from May 8 to May 10, 2025, in Iași, Romania, under the auspices of the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA) and with the support of the Romanian Government – Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitalization. The event was organized by the Romanian Inventors Forum, in collaboration with Europe Direct Iași, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași, and Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iași. This prestigious gathering brought together inventors, researchers, academics, and innovation leaders from around the world, reinforcing EUROINVENT’s role as a leading platform for advancing creativity and international knowledge exchange.
Opening Ceremony and Distinguished Guests
Moderated by Dr. Andrei Victor Sandu, President of the Romanian Inventors Forum, the opening ceremony featured powerful messages and institutional support from:

- Ionuț-Ovidiu Toma – Vice-Rector, Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iași
- Doina Banciu – President, Academy of Romanian Scientists (AOSR)

Impressive Participation and Awards
EUROINVENT 2025 attracted a remarkable 646 invention and research project registrations, with 611 entries evaluated by a qualified jury of Romanian and international experts. The evaluation was based on novelty, usefulness, design, affordability, and overall impact, along with additional criteria such as feasibility, originality, market potential, and social contribution.

Several prominent international delegates received the Ambassador of Innovation Award for their efforts in promoting global innovation. Awardees hailed from Malaysia, Poland, Italy, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, Iran, Moldova, and Bulgaria.
Cultural and Literary Enrichment
Complementing the scientific exhibitions, attendees enjoyed artistic performances and participated in the Book Salon Award Ceremony, where distinguished academic publications from the past two years were evaluated and awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals, along with Special Prizes.
ICIR EUROINVENT 2025 – The Scientific Heart of the Festival
Held in parallel from May 8–9, 2025, the 11th edition of the International Conference on Innovative Research (ICIR EUROINVENT) focused on advanced topics in Materials Science and Engineering. It welcomed researchers, engineers, and academics from across the globe to share and publish their latest findings.
