Professor Dr. Zeljko Zdravkovic
Dr. Željko Zdravković is a professor at the Academy of Applied Studies Polytechnic, where he has been teaching and mentoring students for nearly two decades. Since 2024, he has served as the President of the Belgrade Association of Inventors, actively promoting innovation, creativity, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
A multidisciplinary designer, engineer, and researcher, Dr. Zdravković’s work explores the intersection between technology, industrial design, and the organic world. His research focuses on the application of digital technologies, artificial intelligence (AI), and new media.
Throughout his career, he has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, and has delivered lectures and presentations at international conferences across Europe and Africa: Algeria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Spain, Malta, Greece, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia. He has also taken part in several international architectural competitions.
Dr. Zdravković has extensive experience in collaboration with governmental institutions, museums, research institutes, private companies, and universities, both in Serbia and abroad. Notably, he collaborated with Google on the widely publicized 3D Belgrade & Google Earth project, highlighting his capacity to bridge academic research and industry innovation.
His work has been recognized with numerous awards, honors, and certificates in industrial design, multimedia art, and innovation – both nationally and internationally.
Dr. Zdravković earned his PhD in Multimedia Art from the University of Arts in Belgrade, with the doctoral thesis “Equilibrium: Coexistence of Man and Plant in Artificially Produced Worlds – Multimedia – Biotechnological Installation.”
