China International Patent Fair (CIPF 2026) | November 06 – 08

The 15th China International Patent Fair (CIPF 2026) will be held from November 6 to 8, 2026, at the Wuxi Taihu International Exhibition Center in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, China.

Hosted by the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), organized by the Wuxi Municipal People’s Government, and co-organized by Intellectual Property Publishing House Co., Ltd., CIPF is one of China’s highest-level, most specialized, and most influential national-level events in the field of intellectual property.

The Fair serves as an important platform for international intellectual property exchange and cooperation, as well as for the cross-border transfer, application, and commercialization of patent technologies. It brings together enterprises, universities, research institutions, industry organizations, innovators, and other innovation-driven entities from China and around the world.

The 2026 edition consists of three core components:

• Opening Ceremony
• Exhibition
• Thematic Events

The Opening Ceremony will be held concurrently with the 26th China Patent Award Ceremony, described in the official Exhibition Guide as the highest honor in the field of Chinese patents. The ceremony will showcase some of the year’s most valuable patent technologies and innovative achievements.

• More than 30 high-level thematic activities are planned during CIPF 2026, covering key areas such as:

  • Intellectual property finance
  • Patent commercialization and utilization
  • Improvement of patent examination quality
  • Patent pool development
  • Industrial operation centers
  • Technology transfer and commercialization

  The activities will include thematic seminars, professional competitions, technology roadshows, professional exchanges, and targeted matchmaking, providing a professional platform for innovation-driven organizations to establish connections, exchange expertise, and explore cooperation opportunities.

CIPF 2026 welcomes participation from innovation-driven organizations and entities from China and abroad, including:

• Industry organizations
• Technology and innovation organizations
• Other innovation-driven entities

Participants will have the opportunity to showcase innovative achievements and patent technologies, engage in professional exchanges, establish international connections, and explore opportunities for technology transfer and commercialization.

The previous edition of the China International Patent Fair attracted participants from 14 countries and regions and featured 317 exhibitors.

A total of 55 activities were organized, including policy briefings, exchange meetings and seminars, technology roadshows, product and technology launches, and transaction negotiations.

The cumulative online and offline visitor attendance and event participation reached nearly 100,000.
