Registration Open for the BRICS Competition for Technological Innovations and InnovaCities 2025
The 14th International Fair for Smart, Joyful, Humane, and Resilient Cities ” InnovaCities 2025 ” is now open for registrations for the highly anticipated BRICS Competition for Technological Innovations. This prestigious event will take place from September 15 to 17, 2025, in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, one of the cities acclaimed as one of the 7 Wonders of the Modern World.
Organized by ABIPIR, in partnership with the City Hall of Foz do Iguaçu, BRICS Academy, and the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA), the event aims to unite brilliant minds from BRICS and BRICS+ nations (countries with diplomatic ties to BRICS) to showcase pioneering solutions across vital technological fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Green Energy, Advanced Manufacturing, Space Technologies, and more.
A Global Innovation Ecosystem
Beyond fostering scientific and technological advancements, the competition seeks to position Foz do Iguaçu as a global innovation hub, bringing together researchers, entrepreneurs, startups, and government leaders in an environment of international collaboration.
Participants aged 16 and above are invited to submit innovative projects within one of the 10 defined technology categories, as outlined in the registration form. There is no minimum number of team members, and the competition welcomes researchers, students, startup entrepreneurs, corporate innovators, and government representatives alike.

The AI Experience: A Technological Highlight
As part of the InnovaCities program, the AI Experience will offer immersive, hands-on experiences with augmented reality, virtual reality, robotics, and interactive AI applications. Visitors will explore how cutting-edge technologies are transforming key sectors such as healthcare, education, and urban development through interactive booths, robot demonstrations, and workshops.
This exciting initiative enhances the overall mission of the BRICS Competition, celebrating a future shaped by innovation, collaboration, and inclusion.
Awards & Recognition
Registrations are open until July 14, 2025. The top three projects in each of the 10 categories will be honored with medals and official certificates.
Participants must be at least 16 years old and may represent academic institutions, startups, or traditional companies.
