1. Summoning the members

Alireza Rastegar, IFIA President, summoned the members and thanked them for their assembly in Bangalore. He expressed his appreciation to Aynampudi Subbarao for hosting the EC meeting, as well.

Mr. Mladen Karic brought recorded final version of IFIA SONG which was promoted in the meeting and accepted by the Executive Committee.

2. IFIA & ABIPIR Invention Platform

A brief summary of IFIA-ABIPIR Innovacities Technological Platform as a new concept of invention commercialization process developed by IFIA Full member from Brazil, Brazil Innovative Inventors, Scientists and Entrepreneurs Association was presented to the members. It was explained that IFIA full members have the right to publish 5 videos of 5 minutes to be displayed for 24 hours, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year in more than 40 languages without having all that costs increasing dramatically the chances to commercialize your invention.

At the meantime, IFIA-ABIPIR International Web TV to be launched during the edition of INNOVACITIES with the recording of 2 programs was delineated to the participating members.

The first program is Innovation without borders in which interviews with inventors and interesting subjects for inventors from all over the world will be showed. IFIA full members can send the videos including this material. The second one will be Blue Marlin Tank where 3 inventors, start-ups and entrepreneurs present their projects searching for funding, partnerships or commercialization and will receive investments and advices from the “Marlins”.

3. IFIA and HKTDC Partnership for IDTE

The members were informed of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between IFIA and Hong Kong Trade Development Council to collaborate in the organization of InnoDesign Tech Expo (IDTE).

IFIA members were requested to provide promising and ready to be commercialized inventions in order to be displayed in Global Invention Zone free of charge.

4. Review of membership fees

IFIA Treasurer provided a report of membership fees for 2015 and 2016 to the participating members.

5. Financial Report

The final balance sheet and expenditure report for 2015 was presented to the EC members and they approved the report by the majority of votes.

6. Review of candidates: Committee Members

The documents provided by the EC candidates were examined by the EC members and the following candidates fulfilled the necessary requirements and were elected to be voted during the General Assembly:
