The 19th International Warsaw Invention Show (IWIS 2025) concluded successfully on 7–9 November 2025 at the iconic Copernicus Science Centre, bringing together over 300 groundbreaking inventions from 25 countries. As one of Europe’s most influential innovation exhibitions, the event once again positioned Warsaw at the center of global scientific and technological progress.
A Global Stage for Cutting-Edge Innovation
This year’s exhibition showcased a wide spectrum of fields including engineering, medicine, biotechnology, chemistry, robotics, digital technologies, environmental sustainability, and advanced materials. Universities, research institutes, technology centers, and independent inventors presented their most recent achievements to an international audience of experts and industry representatives.
Strong IFIA Presence Strengthens International Impact
A defining feature of IWIS 2025 was the extensive partnership with the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA). IFIA’s involvement provided scientific oversight, global recognition, and institutional support, significantly elevating the event’s international credibility and reach.
14th World Competition of Chemical Inventions
In parallel with the exhibition, IWIS 2025 hosted the 14th World Competition of Chemical Inventions, co-organized by IFIA and the Association of Polish Inventors and Rationalizers. The competition spotlighted major scientific advancements in applied chemistry and advanced materials, adding depth and technical strength to the event.
IFIA Awards Celebrate Outstanding Scientific Achievements
One of the most highly anticipated moments of the show was the IFIA Special Awards Ceremony, presented personally by IFIA President Mr. Alireza Rastegar. These prestigious honors are reserved for inventions demonstrating exceptional scientific merit, technological innovation, and societal impact.
National and International Special Awards
This year, IFIA presented:
- Two National IFIA Special Awards to outstanding Polish inventions
- One International IFIA Special Award recognizing a top innovation from outside Poland

In recognition of remarkable breakthroughs across diverse scientific fields, IFIA awarded three Best Invention Medals:

Expert Evaluation and Medal Results
An international panel of academics, researchers, and industry specialists evaluated each invention based on originality, scientific contribution, applicability, and commercialization potential. Gold, silver, and bronze medals were awarded across all exhibition categories.
