UAE Inventors Society launched

DUBAI, 26th October 2019 (WAM) — Hessa Essa Buhumaid, Minister of Community Development, has signed-off on Ministerial Decision No. 304 of 2019, announcing the launch of the UAE Inventors Society.

The society will help promote volunteerism in the area of patents, patent awareness, knowledge dissemination and support national capacities in it.

It will also work to improve the technical skill-sets of inventors via specialised courses, conferences, exhibitions, and forums, providing them with platforms to support their work across technical, artistic and legal agendas.

The objectives of the society are to focus on the role of the inventor in the community, highlighting them as role models, and to also see out young innovators across sectors.
