Season’s Greetings from IFIA
Dear IFIA Members, Inventors and Partners,
I sincerely hope that 2017 will be a year of great success, happiness, productivity and prosperity for all of IFIA members, partners and inventors. I want to use this opportunity and express my deep gratitude to all who have supported IFIA in carrying out its mission of disseminating the culture of invention and innovation in the world.
In 2016 IFIA took an important step to contribute to the global innovation movement. There has been a worldwide surge in interest in innovation. Around 15 new members from such countries as Macedonia, Australia, Angola, and Morocco joined IFIA. We are pleased to offer IFIA services to a larger network of inventors around the world.
Moreover, opening IFIA office in India, China, Latin America and Middle East accelerated the accomplishment of IFIA’s mission to disseminate the culture of invention and innovation. We are certain that there will be an outstanding growth in the rate of innovations in the coming year. We will continue to open further offices in the New Year to increase the chance for offering IFIA services to the inventors.
Some International workshops were organized in various countries to raise awareness about idea creation, protection and commercialization which contributed to the development of invention. The successful organization of 40 international invention exhibitions in IFIA member states is another achievement in 2016 which offered a great opportunity to the world inventors to showcase their inventions and create networks with marketers and investors.
IFIA’s sponsorship and partnership with WIPO GREEN and Pro Bono IAP for the industrialization of green technologies to ensure a sustainable world and assisting the under-resourced inventors to draft the patent applications were among other IFIA activities in 2016.
The changes and innovations are expected to continue in the New Year. We hope to write a new chapter for IFIA in 2017 with your cooperation.
