MSME Council is the peak body representing all micro, small and medium
enterprises in Papua New Guinea (PNG). It is a non-profit organization created
under the Associations Act of Papua New Guinea and is dedicated to supporting
entrepreneurship in our country. It will represent IFIA in India as IFIA PNG.
We think we can affect positive change and growth in our area by promoting fresh
ideas and giving people more influence. To do this, we intend to provide a variety of
initiatives and tools aimed at fostering the growth of novel ideas and cutting-edge
technologies.

Prioritizing innovation today is the key to unlocking post-crisis growth—sustainably. Recognizing the youth’s potential in connecting the past and the present with the future and driving positive change, Innovate Bhutan (iBhutan) has been established to create impact and epitomize what responsible Bhutanese entrepreneurs can accomplish.

We have a threefold mission which is based on Advocacy, Capacity Building and
Marketing, which is as follows;

• Advocacy – We are the voice of the small business sector. We advocate for
  them.
• Capacity Building – We help all entrepreneurs and small businesses get established, grow and prosper.
• Marketing – We help connect our members with new markets and access to markets.

To be a crucial partner in MSME creation, incubation, protection and growth.

Through our membership in IFIA, the MSME Council aspires to:
1. Improve PNG’s standing in the innovation index from 6.02 upwards.
2. To bring to the world some of the best inventions from all across PNG.
3. Focus on sustainable and impact-driven innovations.
4. Provide maximum support via events, and exhibitions to inventors & innovators by
bringing Global connections which help in commercialization.
