Kinshasa to Host the 2nd “Creativity and Innovation Day” in Partnership with IFIA
The International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA) proudly highlights the upcoming 2nd edition of “Creativity and Innovation Day”, an important scientific and educational initiative organized by the Lebanese School of Kinshasa (LLK) in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The event will take place on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the campus of the Lebanese School of Kinshasa, under the inspiring theme:
“A Generation Designing Its Future”
Building on a strong legacy of academic excellence in the heart of Kinshasa and celebrating its official membership within the IFIA Global Network, the Lebanese School of Kinshasa continues its mission of nurturing young scientific minds and transforming student ideas into meaningful global innovations.
This year’s edition is expected to gather more than 60 innovative student projects, showcasing the creativity, scientific talent, and entrepreneurial spirit of students from participating schools.
The event will feature projects in several multidisciplinary categories, including:
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Technology & Coding
- Arts & Creative Design
In addition to encouraging scientific exploration and innovation, all projects will be evaluated by a specialized scientific jury according to international standards, providing students with valuable experience in professional scientific presentation and innovation assessment. Supervised by the Science Activities Department of the Lebanese School of Kinshasa, the initiative demonstrates the growing impact of IFIA’s mission in promoting innovation culture and youth empowerment, particularly across Africa. The event also reflects the importance of educational institutions in shaping future inventors and innovators by encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and applied scientific thinking from an early age.
