Tax Exemption Granted to IFIA

Republic and Canton of Geneva exempts the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations from taxes on earnings and the capital from 2015 to an indeterminate length. According to the law on the taxation of legal persons (LIPM) and on tax Direct federal (DBG), IFIA fulfills the public utility and public interest conditions.

IFIA objectives includes dissemination of the culture of invention and innovation which is in line with public utility requirements. Moreover, IFIA tax exemption number is MGU/CN – DARs 016020272 et 016020271 N 080.335.043.

Finally, the issuance of this letter by the Swiss Government demonstrates the official registration of IFIA in Switzerland.
