IFIA President Holds Formal Collaboration Discussion with Head of the German Inventors Association
[Nuremberg, Germany, October 29, 2023] – An official meeting between Mr. Alireza Rastegar, President of the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA), and Mr. Herbert Boos, President of the German Inventors Association (DEV), took place on the sidelines of the International Trade Fair Ideas – Inventions – New Products (iENA).
During this significant meeting, Mr. Rastegar shared insights into the opportunities for collaboration between IFIA and the Institute of Inventors of Germany, with a particular focus on the benefits for German inventors. The discussion revolved around potential avenues for mutual cooperation and the establishment of a framework to promote innovation and inventions.
IFIA President highlighted the organization’s capabilities to support the Institute of Inventors of Germany, emphasizing the potential for joint projects in the areas of inventions, commercialization, and start-ups. Mr. Boos, in response, expressed his keen interest in leveraging German inventions and innovations for the broader IFIA community. He further conveyed the Institute of Inventors of Germany’s readiness to establish a common platform for collaboration, fostering interaction in all facets of innovation and invention among IFIA members.
The German Inventors Association, known as “DEV,” holds full IFIA membership within Germany and stands as the most prominent professional association of independent inventors in the country. Guided by the belief that inventors are both creative artists and valuable problem solvers in society, DEV aspires to serve as a bridge between the creative minds in the industry and the governing bodies, including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and industrial entities in Germany. DEV since 1929, has been striving as Germany’s oldest and largest nonprofit organization for independent inventors and innovators to operate a vibrant transnational network that broadly promotes creativity and technological advancement.
