4. IFIA Action Plan 2010
IFIA President proposed the following program
- 2nd International Inventors’ Day
- World Cup of Inventions
- Commercialization of inventions
- International exhibitions supported by IFIA (selected by the ExCo)
- Organization of the IFIA Technology Transfer Center (prepared by the ExCo)
- Conferences and seminars (selected by the ExCo)
- Internet
The organization of 2nd International Inventors’ Day Proposal was received from the NRCT (February 2 – Bangkok, Thailand). The organizer offered free of charge 3×3 booth/exhibitor. Because there is political scandal in Bangkok the President must decide whether to accept Bangkok invitation until first of December finding other applicants for organization the 2nd IID.
World Cup of Inventions Proposal was received from the AIR (September 16-20 – Sangeorgiu Mures, Romania). Supports include free of charge 2×6 booth/exhibitor and free hotel accommodation for leader of exhibitor. The GA accepted the invitation of AIR to organize World Cup of inventions in Romania.
5. IFIA Executive Committee election
The President declared that the mandates of the ExCo members who had been elected in 2006 are expired. The IFIA President expressed his thanks to the ExCo members who had been elected in 2006 and handed over IFIA Outstanding Service Medals to the previous IFIA ExCo members:

Lennart Nilsson proposed the new ExCo to be the real working group not the representative body of IFIA. The ExCo members are organizers with cooperation ability.
IFIA President proposed to increase the members of the new ExCo to 15 representatives instead of 11 one. The delegates had unanimously approved these 2 proposals. The GA elected the next representatives of IFIA members as ExCo members with mandate to 2010:

6. Others
IFIA President proposed to organize the first Executive Committee in Budapest during January 8-10 2009 and the second meeting will be in the second half of 2009. The venue and the date of next IFIA GA (2010) will be determined by IFIA ExCo.
The member fee is low. It is based on individual conventions which was determined many years before. The best way to rise the member fee is the spontaneity. Each IFIA member pay raised member fee according to its financial conditions in 2009 – proposed by Omar Al-Bannai (Kuwait).
