CALL FOR IFIA EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE CANDIDACY (2025–2027)

Application Procedure:

According to the IFIA Statute, all candidacy submissions must:

• Be sent in an official letter signed by the President or authorized representative of the member association.

• Be submitted via email to the IFIA Secretariat no later than May 31, 2025.

• Be sent exclusively to: info@ifia.com

Important Notes:

• If an IFIA member organization nominates a candidate for IFIA Exco Member, their representative must be physically present at the IFIA General Assembly Meeting in Zagreb, Croatia to participate in the election.
  “Failure to attend will result in automatic disqualification, and the candidate’s name will be removed from the final voting list”

• Any current Executive Committee member (2023–2025) who has failed to attend more than two ExCo meetings during the current term will not be eligible to apply for the next term.

• Only one candidate per country is permitted, in line with the Statutes.

The IFIA Executive Committee:

• Is composed of up to one-third of the full IFIA members, elected by the General Assembly for a two-year term.

• Represents all global regions equitably, promoting balanced international cooperation.

• Ensures implementation of General Assembly decisions within IFIA’s means.

• Oversees committees, working groups, and evaluates membership applications.

• Meets twice per year in regular sessions, with extraordinary meetings convened by the President when needed.

• Operates on a voluntary basis without any form of remuneration.

Nominees for the Executive Committee must:

• Be affiliated with a current IFIA full member association.

• Demonstrate strong commitment to IFIA’s mission and strategy.

• Possess relevant experience and knowledge of IFIA activities and goals.

• Be active and engaged participants in IFIA meetings and programs.

• Have the time and resources to support IFIA work voluntarily.

The Croatian Union of Innovators, as the host and sponsor of the IFIA General Assembly Meeting 2025, is pleased to offer the following benefits to official IFIA members who attend the General Assembly in Zagreb, Croatia

• 3 nights of hotel accommodation for one delegate per official IFIA member organization.
• 6m² exhibition booth, with the opportunity to showcase up to three (3) inventions, free of charge and without any registration fees for each IFIA member. The deadline for submission of candidacy is May 31, 2025, and applications will be considered at the next meeting of the IFIA Executive Committee.
After the candidates are approved by the IFIA committee members, they will be nominated for the 2025 General Assembly elections.

General Assembly Meeting information.

The IFIA General Assembly meeting will be held physically on October 17, 2025, in Zagreb, Croatia, in conjunction with the ARCA event.
