BIXPO 2016

BIXPO 2016 was organized by Korea Electric Power Corporation under IFIA’s patronage from 2 to 4 November 2016 in Kimdaejung Convention Center (KCC), Gwangju, Korea. 52000 visitors from 43 countries joined the celebration of advancement of electric power and energy technologies and industry.

IFIA President, Alireza Rastegar, was invited to have a video interview. In response to the question asked by the interviewer to express his impression on the BIXPO 2016, he remarked:

“Bitagram International Exposition of Electric Power Technology is one of most effective factors in the development of power industry around the world. The participation of Electric Power CTOs, experts from the Industrial and Academic Sector, international invention associations and the display of innovative ideas in the field of power technology helps to the improvement of this industry. IFIA considers BIXPO as one of its official events and the most important one. Although BIXPO is organized for only 2 years, it is comparable with the events in America and Germany which have a long history. The organization of conferences with the attendance of experts can offer this industry a new outlook. Also the participation of businessmen and investors in BIXPO can contribute to the commercialization of innovative ideas”
