About AIAI
AIAI – Australia Inventors Association Incorporated is a non-for- profit organization with the mission to organize invention exhibitions and competitions, to support inventors and researchers on all levels of innovation development and the invention of commercialization, and to promote invention and innovation, intellectual property and entrepreneurship in Australia and internationally.

Objectives
- Improve the status of inventors and promote cooperation between inventors’ associations in different countries (or persons acting in place thereof);
- Collect information about the state of affairs and practical conditions relating to inventors and inventions in different countries and to disseminate such information among members;
- Study national laws and international conventions including proposals for their amendments in order to reform them in accordance with the continuous changes in the innovation field, with due consideration to the rights of the inventors, and to intervene in national and international proceedings for the purpose of achieving such reforms;
- Increase the knowledge and understanding of inventors and invention among private individuals and government bodies of importance and influence, and to peak with a common voice in all matters relating to the aforementioned objectives;
- Communicate with any government or public body, and to cooperate with them or any other Institution, association or person for any purpose contributing to the attainment of the aforementioned objectives;
- Establish the conditions for successful knowledge and technology transfer within Australia and internationally via the Technology Transfer Center, working under the supervision of IFIA Office;
- Raise the appreciation of inventors and inventions;
- Support inventor’s project from the idea development to the invention commercialization;
- Perform all necessary activities to encourage and promote invention and innovation;
- Organize invention competitions and exhibitions to encourage inventors and to promote cooperation between inventors;
