DESCRIPTION:Sustainable Development Goals International Innovation Awards & Expo (SDG IIAE 2023) \nAs the world nears the halfway point of the 2030 Agenda and continues to rebuild in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. Practical solutions that can accelerate progress on the SDGs will be desperately needed in this context. The focus will be on accelerating transformation through important entry points and enabling science to support this acceleration.\nThe Malaysia Technology Expo (MTE) 2023: Sustainable Development Goals International Innovation Awards & Expo (SDG IIAE) is the first in the region focused on recognizing innovations\, initiatives\, programmes and ideas which contribute to sustainability\, eradicating poverty\, improving well-being\, protecting our planet\, and building peace and prosperity. \n The event returns on 18-20 October 2023 and will be held virtually. In 2022\, the awards received 217 innovation entries from Hong Kong\, the Philippines\, Taiwan\, Thailand\, China\, the UK\, the US\, Yemen\, Arab Saudi\, Indonesia\, Iran\, and Malaysia; with 186 entries shortlisted. 80 Gold\, 58 Silver\, and 16 Bronze medals were awarded to participants who competed in 5 main categories\, embracing all 17 SDGs.
