Yenilik Foundation is a nonprofit organization created under Section 8 of the Indian Companies Act dedicated to supporting innovation and driving progress across industry sectors. It will represent IFIA in India as IFIA BHARAT.

We believe that through the promotion of new ideas and the empowerment of individuals, we can bring about positive change and advancement in our field. THE PRESIDENT OF IFIA APPOINTED A NEW DIRECTOR FOR ACADEMIC DEPARTMENT

Due to the fundamental changes that the federation is going through, on August 23rd, Mr. Alireza Rastegar, the president of IFIA, announced that Prof.Aynampudi Subbarao was officially appointed as the new IFIA Academic Director.

Prof.Aynampudi Subbarao has been working with the International Federation of Inventors’ Association for more than six years as a member of the International Federation of Inventors’ Association Executive Committee. Also, he has been the president of the Indian Innovators Association for more than 18 years. Furthermore, he has valuable experiences in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation, and has participated in many international innovation festivals as a judge and chairman of the jury, and has participated in international events in the past years as a representative of the International Federation of Inventors’ Association. By having him as IFIA’s Academic Director, we can use his professional experience and academic qualification, such as being a professor in IIT, his Presidency in Indian Innovators Association, his Certificate from Harvard University, and his Ph.D. in Project Management in our favor.

His astonishing background can help the inventors and all the people involved with innovation, to become more creative from a young age. For instance, he has been a visiting professor at the Indian Institutes of Technology for more than seven years, so he is well aware of the problems that the students go through and can help them to lead their creativity to innovation. Also, his seven-year record in a not-for-profit business incubator named Startup Village as a board member shows that he can ease the way of entrepreneurs by knowing the kinds of problems that they may go through and trying to remove the obstacles.

In conclusion, the president and the people involved with this decision look forward to working with Prof.Aynampudi Subbarao, and we hope this choice would help the inventors and the innovation society more than ever.
