From October 16 to 18, 2025, the city of Zagreb transformed into the world’s innovation capital as it hosted the 23rd International Innovation Exhibition ARCA, organized by the Croatian Union of Innovators in collaboration with the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA).
The prestigious event took place at the National and University Library in Zagreb, showcasing the latest global achievements in science, technology, and creativity.

A Gathering of the World’s Brightest Innovators

The 18th edition of INTARG® – International Invention and Innovation Show was successfully held from June 3 to 5, 2025, at the International Congress Centre in Katowice, Poland. Organized under the theme “We Support Innovativeness on the Way to Success”, this year’s event once again confirmed INTARG’s status as one of the most prestigious invention fairs in Europe and an influential hub for global innovation. 

INTARG® 2025 was organized under the honorary patronage of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), with strong support from the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA), the Ministry of Development and Technology of Poland, and the Mayor of Katowice. The event attracted innovators, researchers, entrepreneurs, universities, R&D institutions, and representatives from business and industry from over 20 countries.

As a hybrid event, INTARG® provided an inclusive platform for both in-person and online participants to present their technologies, attend panel sessions, and engage in international matchmaking. Innovation by Women Takes Center Stage at KIWIE 2025  

The 18th Korea International Women’s Invention Exposition (KIWIE 2025) was held from May 22 to 24 at Hall 10 of Exhibition Center 2, KINTEX, in Goyang, Republic of Korea. Organized by the Korea Women Inventors Association (KWIA) in collaboration with the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO), the event once again served as a prominent global stage for celebrating women’s innovation and ingenuity.

This year’s exposition featured an impressive 445 inventions presented by talented women inventors from 16 countries. Among them, 133 inventions were from Korea, while 312 inventions represented international participants, showcasing the truly global nature of the event.

KIWIE 2025 provided a powerful platform for women inventors to exhibit their groundbreaking ideas, connect with peers from around the world, and promote international cooperation in innovation and intellectual property.

The 16th International Fair on Innovations in Agriculture, Food Industry, and Agricultural Machinery (AGRO ARCA 2025) was successfully held from May 15 to 17, 2025, at the Višnjik Sports Center in Zadar, Croatia. The event was jointly organized by the Croatian Union of Innovators, in collaboration with the City of Zadar, Zadar County, and the University of Zadar.

This year’s edition of AGRO ARCA brought together more than 130 innovations presented by over 200 inventors from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Slovenia, Hungary, North Macedonia, Poland, Iran, Indonesia, South Korea, and Thailand. Notably, a substantial portion of the showcased innovations originated from young inventors including elementary and secondary school students, as well as university students from across Croatia highlighting a strong culture of youth-driven innovation.

[Seoul, South Korea – November 30, 2024] The bustling halls of the Seoul Convention Center COEX once again became a hub of innovation and creativity as the Seoul International Invention Fair (SIIF 2024) welcomed participants from around the globe. Taking place from November 27 to November 30, 2024, this year marks the 20th edition of SIIF, reaffirming its position as one of the premier international events for showcasing groundbreaking inventions and technologies.

Organized by the Korea Invention Promotion Association (KIPA) and held under the auspices of the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO), the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA), and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), SIIF 2024 continues its mission to celebrate and promote innovation as a driving force for global progress.

With 550 inventors and startups from 32 countries participating, this year’s event set new benchmarks in diversity and innovation.

The exhibition featured an impressive range of inventive solutions across industries such as healthcare, renewable energy, artificial intelligence, agriculture, and smart technologies. From October 14 to 16, the XVIII International Warsaw Invention Show (IWIS) 2024 showcased the very best of global innovation, bringing together a vibrant community of experts, creative thinkers, and technology enthusiasts from over 18 countries. Held under the Honorary Patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, and in partnership with the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA), this year’s event highlighted more than 200 groundbreaking ideas, each with the potential to drive substantial advancements in technology.

Organized by the Association of Polish Inventors and Rationalizers, IWIS 2024 featured pioneering solutions from over 100 scientific entities, including research institutes, universities, and individual inventors. The 22nd International Innovation Exhibition ARCA 2024, alongside the 15th International Fair of Innovations in Agriculture, Food Industry, and Agricultural Machinery (AGRO-ARCA 2024), took place from October 10 to 12, 2024, at the National and University Library in Zagreb, Croatia. These prestigious events were organized by the Croatian Union of Innovators, bringing together a diverse range of innovators, academics, and industry leaders.

The exhibitions were held under the auspices of the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA), the Croatian Association of Technical Culture, the University of Zagreb, and the National and University Library in Zagreb. The event received sponsorship from several key ministries, including the Ministry of the Economy, the Ministry of Science, Education and Youth, and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, as well as the State Institute for Intellectual Property. Partners supporting the event included HAMAG BICRO (Croatian Agency for SMEs, Innovation and Investments) and HBOR (Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development).

ARCA 2024 attracted more than 250 innovations from Croatia and various countries, including Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, North Macedonia, the USA, Moldova, Poland, Turkey, Iran, and China. The showcased innovations came from individual inventors, the research and development community, and innovative start-up companies, highlighting cutting-edge advancements from both Croatia and abroad.

From June 20 to June 22, the 17th Korea International Women’s Invention Exposition (KIWIE) took place at Hall 3, Exhibition Center 1, KINTEX in Goyang, South Korea. Organized by the Korea Women Inventors Association (KWIA) with the cooperation of the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO), the event successfully highlighted and celebrated the remarkable achievements of women inventors from around the globe.

This year’s KIWIE featured 400 innovative inventions and patent technologies developed by women from 20 countries, including Poland, Peru, Sri Lanka, Russia, Iran, Thailand, China, and many others. The expo provided a unique platform for these talented female inventors to present their groundbreaking work, foster international exchange, and establish a robust global network.

The “IP Wave for Creative Women Leaders 2024” session was a standout feature of the event. Held on June 21, this program empowered women inventors with advanced knowledge in intellectual property (IP) and innovation. Esteemed instructors from WIPO and South Korea delivered comprehensive sessions on various topics, such as global industrial market trends, the significance of IP, WIPO’s IP support policies, strategies for entering global markets, and inspiring success stories of women leaders in IP.

On 21-23 May, the 17th INTARG® 2024 International Invention and Innovation Show took place at the International Congress Centre in Katowice. This year, for the first time, the event was accompanied by INTARG® EKO International Fair for Ecology and Environmental Protection, emphasizing the importance of sustainable development and care for our planet. This year’s event was particularly significant, not only because of the prestigious support of the Ministry of Development and Technology, the Ministry of Science, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) – one of 16 UN agencies and many other high-ranking institutions, but also because it was held under the auspices of the European City of Science Katowice 2024 project. Katowice is the first city in Central and Eastern Europe to be awarded the honorable title of Katowice City of Science 2024, which is a confirmation that the location of the fair in the capital of the Upper Silesian and Zagłębie Metropolitan Area (GZM) is the most appropriate place for an event presenting the future of the world based on innovation and scientific research. The patronages obtained testify to the high reputation of the event developed over the years. INTARG is a place where representatives of science, industry, and business, inventors, and innovation enthusiasts have been meeting for many years.

MISSION
One of the key tasks of science and technology is the creation of new products and solutions and their transfer to the economy as a basis for the progress of civilization. INTARG® is an international and interdisciplinary event supporting these challenges.
TOPICS
The Show presents research results and innovative solutions from various industries and fields, with a view to their dissemination, implementation, and commercialization – from medicine and health, security, and IT, to inventions useful in various industries as well as in everyday life. This year most of the solutions presented, were those with a high TRL technology readiness level – close to implementation or already implemented.

The 25th Thailand Inventors’ Day theme for “Inventions and Innovations Lead the Country” organized by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation was completed successfully with more than 20,000 visitors, 1,500 inventions and innovations from both local Thai inventors and over 500 inventions and innovations from Asian and European countries.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, graciously presided over the official opening ceremony of the Thailand Inventors’ Day 2024 on February 2nd, 2024 at BITEC Bangna, Bangkok, and bestowed the National Research Awards to recipients during the ceremony. The event is held to commemorate historical events and the royal patronage of Thai inventions. His Majesty also granted the ” Chaipattana Low-Speed Surface Aerator” invention patent, a device for adding nutrients to slow-moving water surfaces, in honor of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, the Father of Thai Inventions, along with showcasing exhibitions of works in research and innovation in various fields such as agriculture, medicine, quality of life, and elderly society. Additionally, there were exhibitions from youth inventors’ competitions; secondary school, vocational schools, and higher education, with over 600 inventions for the Thailand New Gen Inventors Award 2024.

In the afternoon of the same day, Ms. Supamas Isarabhakdi, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation, delivered the keynote speech on “Research and Innovation as the Foundation for Sustainable Development Country” during the opening ceremony of Thailand Inventors’ Day 2024. Additionally, Dr. Wiparat De-ong, Executive Director of the National Research Council of Thailand, delivered a welcoming speech, accompanied by a congratulatory speech from Mr. Alireza Rastegar, President of the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA).  Moreover, Mr. Permsuk Sutchaphiwat, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation, along with ministry executives and network organization executives, graced the ceremony with their presence.

From December 12th to 14th, the International Warsaw Invention Show (IWIS 2023) emerged as a hub of innovation, uniting experts, creative thinkers, and technology enthusiasts from more than 15 countries. As customary, the event received the Honorary Patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda. The Exhibition collaborated with the Polish Patent Office and the International Federation of Inventors Associations (IFIA). Featuring over 200 groundbreaking ideas, the event held the potential to transform the landscape of technology.

Among the notable participants, the prestigious GPX award was bestowed upon the solution presented by AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, titled “Sorbent for Recovering Lithium from Brines Deposits Prepared by 3D Printing Method.” This invention entails a highly porous sorbent with precisely controlled geometry designed for lithium recovery from brines. The primary material for its production is a light-cured resin highly infused with a lithium-selective powder based on aluminum oxide. The sorbent manufacturing method involves printing shapes using the DLP technique and calcining them to partially burn the resin, ultimately yielding a porous ceramic sorbent with a precisely optimized shape. The Special Award for the Best National Invention was conferred upon another team from AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow for their solution titled “Innovative Internet Platform for Bilateral Science-Industry Communication. Success stories for 75 years: The Inventors’ Trade Fair iENA celebrated its 75th anniversary.

The international trade fair “Ideas – Inventions – New Products” iENA 2023 took place from Saturday, 28th to Monday, 30th October at the Nuremberg Trade Fair Centre and celebrated its 75th anniversary this year. For three days, the iENA presented inventions from all over the world. China was this year’s partner – the China Association of Inventions (CAI) brought numerous innovations from China to Nuremberg together with other Chinese inventor institutions.

More than 500 inventions were presented to the trade public in Nuremberg during the iENA, and inventors and developers from all over the world were expected in Nuremberg. Included at the iENA 2023 were collectives from countries such as Egypt, Angola, China, Iraq, Lebanon, and Poland. For inventors, the trade fair in Nuremberg offered the opportunity to network establish contacts with potential investors and licensors, and present innovations in personal conversations. In addition, the iENA provided technical information: The German Patent and Trademark Office DPMA ensured a high quality of information about patent and trademark rights, and the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection, the European Union Intellectual Property Office, and Bayern Innovative were there as partners. The German Inventors’ Association DEV was the contact for inventors and offered initial information as well as opportunities for exchange. In addition to numerous international participants, national inventor clubs and collectives, as well as private inventors, also presented themselves at the iENA, including the Förderkreis Ingenieurstudium of the Technical Faculty Erlangen.

KIWIE IS A PLATFORM THAT CELEBRATES AND FOSTERS THE CREATIVITY AND INNOVATION OF WOMEN WORLDWIDE

From July 20 to July 23, the 16th Korea International Women’s Invention Exposition (KIWIE) took place at the Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX) in Goyang, South Korea. The prestigious event, organized by the Korea Women Inventors Association (KWIA) with the cooperation of KIPO, aimed to promote and recognize the outstanding contributions of women inventors worldwide. With the participation of 375 inventors from 19 countries, including Poland, Iran, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Yemen, Tajikistan, Indonesia, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Sri Lanka, KIWIE has once again proven to be a melting pot of creativity and innovation.

The KIWIE 2023 edition sought to raise awareness about women’s invention activities, facilitate knowledge and idea exchange among female inventors from diverse backgrounds, and establish a robust international network. The expo provided a platform for women inventors to showcase their exceptional inventions and gain recognition on a global stage.

The event garnered significant support from various governmental ministries, international organizations, and regional authorities, including the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), International Federation of Inventors’ Association (IFIA), Ministry of Science & Technology, Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Ministry of SMEs and Startups, Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, Seoul Metropolitan Government, Gyeonggi Provincial Government, Korea Patent Attorneys Association, Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Korea International Trade Association, Korea Invention Promotion Association, Korea Intellectual Property Strategy Agency, and Korea Institute of Patent Information.

The 16th International Invention and Innovation Show INTARG® 2023 was held in Poland, Katowice on May 24-25, 2023.

The 16^th edition of INTARG was held by the IFIA official member, Euro Business Haller, in the International Congress Centre MCK Katowice – location of the most renowned and vital business events in Poland, May 24-25, 2023. This event was held under the patronage of the Polish Ministry of Development and Economy, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA) in co-hosting with the city of Katowice. Katowice City co-hosts the show and is the first city in Middle-East Europe to receive the European City of Science title in 2024. The show serves as a platform for participants to present their creative ideas, inventions, and technological advancements in various fields such as science, technology, engineering, and design. It provides an opportunity for inventors to network, collaborate, and gain recognition for their work. INTARG® features a wide range of exhibits and presentations, including prototypes, models, and demonstrations of cutting-edge technologies. Participants can interact with visitors, investors, potential partners, and industry experts to discuss their projects and explore opportunities for commercialization or further development.

IFIA award committee selected two of the most figurative inventions after evaluating the nominated inventors by the jury president and the award committee representative. The winners of the IFIA Award are the Amazon AWS Team for the Invention “Amazon Monitron” from Poland and the National Institute for Research and Petrochemistry – ICECHIM team for the Invention “Process and Absorbent material for absorption of organic solutions” from Romania.

The 14th International Fair on Innovation in Agriculture, Food Industry and Agricultural Machinery AGRO ARCA 2023 was held May 12 – 14, 2023 in the City of Prelog, organized by the Croatian Union of Innovators and the City of Prelog.

This year the picturesque Marina Beach of Prelog hosted the exhibition, gathering together over 100 exhibitors from 8 countries, giving special attention to innovative, green and energy-efficient, competitive technologies in agriculture, food production, and processing. 

In addition to innovations in agriculture, local family-run and agritourism farms in the Medjimurje county region and the surroundings were given the opportunity to present their products.

AGRO ARCA took place under the auspices of the Ministry of Science and Education, Ministry of Agriculture, and Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, while the partners were the Faculty of Agriculture, HAMAG-BICRO, and Chamber of Crafts of Medjimurje County.
The co-organizers were the Croatian Association of Technical Culture and IFIA (International Federation of Associations of Innovators) and the fair was also sponsored by many local companies.

At the fair, 13 gold medals, 12 silver, and 29 bronze medals were awarded in the category of junior and senior innovators, as well as a special IFIA medal won by Ivan Bracic’s company PIP d.o.o. with the innovation “Apibonum IB for bee colony hygiene”, while the best innovation of the AGRO ARCA 2023 fair was declared innovation „WOOLEE fertilizer and repellent from raw wool“ created by the innovator Dragica Jerkov.

Successful outcome for the iENA 2022 Trade Fair “Ideas – Inventions – New Products”

The Nuremberg Inventors’ Fair iENA lives up to its position as an international meeting place for the inventor scene.
The international trade fair for “Ideas – Inventions – New Products” iENA 2022 showcased 530 inventions over four days at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre. This year, more international guests also came to Nuremberg to present innovations for the world of tomorrow.

After a pandemic-related break, the first inventors’ fair went extremely well last year. At the fair, exhibiting inventors were already able to hold initial licensing talks. This year, iENA was able to build on this positive relaunch and continue to expand: 530 inventions from 26 countries were on display at the iENA 2022. This means that the iENA’s international spirit is back and the course is set for the future of the Nuremberg Inventors’ Fair.

The inventions presented at the iENA this year covered every area of life, such as medicine, energy technology, environmental protection, safety as well as practical aids for everyday living. Particularly impressive were the innovations from the young inventors who came to the fair with, for example, Jugend forscht, the Schülerforschungszentrum Südwürttemberg, the Maristengymnasium Fürstenzell, the Apian-Gymnasium Ingolstadt and the inventors’ club Nussknacker.

Organized by the Croatian Community of Innovators, the jubilee 20th international innovation exhibition ARCA 2022 was held from October 13 to 15, 2022, in the National and University Library in Zagreb, Croatia.
More than 200 innovations from a 12 countries were presented at the exhibition, which are the result of the imagination of individual innovators, the research and development community and innovative start-up companies from Croatia and abroad.
Prof. Dr. Miljenko Simpraga, president of the Croatian Union of Innovators, pointed out in his welcome speech that ARCA is the only such exhibition in the world that has been held continuously for 20 years in person, including the two pandemic years.
At the opening, the gathering was greeted by Prof. Dr. Tomislav Josip Mlinaric, the newly elected vice-chancellor for innovation, technology transfer, and cooperation with the economy of the University of Zagreb (the largest Croatian university), who referred to the role of innovation and new technologies in stimulating the economy. The audience was warmly greeted by the IFIA director Mr. Zoran Barisic, who spoke on behalf of the IFIA president Dr. Alireza Rastegar. The audience was also greeted by the representative of the City of Zagreb, Ms. Madeleine Wolf, the head of the Innovation Sector of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, Ms. Diana Krcmar, the state secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Mr. Zdravko Tusek, while the 20th international innovation exhibition ARCA 2022 was officially opened by the envoy of the Speaker of the Croatian Parliament, and the Mayor of Mursko Sredisce, Mr. Drazen Srpak.

 

ISIF 2022, The Most Visited International Inventions Fair In The World, Was Held Together With The World’s Biggest Aeronautic, Space And Technology Festival, Teknofest

We are happy to announce that the 7th Istanbul International Inventions Fair – ISIF’22, held between 30 August and 04 September 2022, became one of the most visited invention and innovation events in the world. With the honorary patronage of the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye, ISIF 22 was hosted by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TÜRKPATENT), under the International Patronage of the International Federation of Inventors’ Association, IFIA, organized by the Anatolia Inventions and Inventors Association, and supported by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and Turkey Technology Team.

At the opening ceremony, many distinguished figures attended the event. Minister of Industry and Technology, Mr. Mustafa Varank, The President of TÜRKPATENT, Mr. Cemil BAŞPINAR, and IFIA Vice President, Mr. Zoran BARISIC were some of the notable people in the invention community that were present in the opening ceremony.

This event aimed to introduce the inventions created by serious attempts, bring them together with the investors, and commercialize them. Moreover, ISIF plans to create awareness about the ecosystem of invention and innovation using the attendance of people of all ages so that they can hold national and international workshops and become an organization with the most powerful industrial property network in Türkiye.
This year, ISIF’22 hosted over 1 million visitors from all around the world. Besides, more than 270 inventors from 13 countries participated in this international event as contestants.

 

Female Inventors Made A Great Appearance At Korea International Women’s Invention Exposition 2022

Korea International Women’s Invention Exposition, KIWIE, is one of the few festivals celebrating female inventors and inventions in the world. All these years, KIWIE has driven the growth of female inventors for more than a decade by exhibiting and awarding patented technologies and inventions done by the women of South Korea and other countries such as Poland, Tajikistan, Thailand, Iran, etc.
This year, KIWIE 2022 was organized by KIWA and with the cooperation of KIPO under the patronage of IFIA which was a hybrid event that was held online and offline so that all inventors could send their applications to participate in this event. The women inventors had the chance to visit the website and the online exhibition hall, and they could experience the event in person. In KIWIE 2022, which was the first event in which people participated physically after COVID-19, many women had the chance to meet each other and share their innovative thoughts. Moreover, 318 female inventors experienced this event, and around 200 were partaking physically from 18 countries from all around the world.

Furthermore, at the closing ceremony, Mr. Alireza Rastegar, the president of IFIA, and Mrs. Soonsun Kim, the president of KIWIE, gave speeches regarding the progress of women inventors from all around the world and thanked all the female innovators who participated in this event.

On Thursday, May 12, in the Spodek/International Congress Center Jubilee 15th Edition of International Invention and Innovation Show INTARG® 2022 ended in Katowice. INTARG® 2022, co-hosted by the City of Katowice.

The Show is dedicated to the international presentation of the potential and achievements of technological thought and science, i.e. inventions, technologies and innovative services directed to the industry. Solutions presented at the fair combine creativity, innovativeness, high technical and economic values and care for common good.

Owing to its high international reputation, INTARG® show has been patronized by the highest-ranking institutions, including the Ministry of Development and Technology and the World Intellectual Property Organisation WIPO – one of 16 UN agencies. (INTARG® as the only trade fair in Poland and few in the world is held under the honorary patronage of WIPO). International support is provided by the International Federation of Inventors Association (IFIA) and The co-host of the event is the City of Katowice.

The 13th International Fair of Innovations in Agriculture, Food Industry and Agricultural mechanization  AGRO ARCA 2022, organized by the Croatian Union of Innovators, was held in the City of Prelog from May 13 to 15, 2022.

This year’s AGRO ARCA took part under the auspices of the Ministry of Science and Education, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, while the partners were the Faculty of Agriculture, HAMAG-BICRO, Chamber of Crafts of Međimurje County, Medimurje County, Sibenik-Knin County and Gorican Municipality.

The co-organizers of the fair were the Croatian Association of Technical Culture and IFIA (International Federation of Associations of Innovators) and the fair was sponsored by many local companies.

As part of the opening ceremony, the audience was greeted by prof. dr. sc. Miljenko Simpraga, President of the Croatian Union of Innovators, and Tugomir Majdak, State Secretary at the Ministry of Agriculture, envoy of the PM of the Republic of Croatia. The President of the Croatian Association of Innovators, Miljenko Simpraga, underlined the importance of innovation in agriculture and emphasized the synergy of all stakeholders in cooperation with the academic community.

250,000$ was awarded to selected inventors from all around the world in the Challenge and Innovation Forum. “CIF 2021”

After four days of physical exhibition and months of preparation and registrations, finally, the Challenge and Innovation Forum, CIF came to an end and is ready to come back in 2022 in Qatar. The Challenge and Innovation Forum, (CIF 2021) is considered a unique event in The Middle East region under the patronage of IFIA. It included a number of competitions, events, and interactive science programs aimed to motivate and encourage inventors from all over the world to participate in this huge event.
Accordingly, CIF presented some projects that reflected the roles of research, development, and innovation in achieving a knowledge-based economy. Also, the Challenge and Innovation Forum contributed to directing the attention of the international community to learn more about the latest developments in the fields of innovation and modern technologies.
CIF Qatar 2021 included two main competitions; Best Inventions and Hackathon.
The best inventions competition aimed to showcase individual inventors’ projects for the first two days, and then, the participants were divided into groups where they competed to develop their unique ideas from scratch to a startup within just 48 hours with a total prize of 250,000$.
In the invention exhibitions, the inventors showcased their invention in an exhibition-style event where they had a dedicated booth, and a group of judges evaluated the best ideas over the first two days.

Successful outcome for the iENA 2021 Trade Fair “Ideas – Inventions – New Products”

iENA 2021, Nuremberg, Germany – 72nd International Trade Fair for Ideas, Inventions and New Products – iENA’21 took place on November to 01 to 04 at Nuremberg Exhibition Center, Hall 10.

The iENA provides support in all stages of development, from the initial idea and creation of a prototype through to market launch, marketing and company formation. Key partners of the iENA include the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA), the German Patent and Trade Mark Office, the Association of German Engineers (VDI) as well as the German Inventors’ Association (DEV) and other national and international inventors’ associations.

ARCA 2021, The 19. International Exhibition of Inventions under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Croatia, Mr. Zoran Milanovic, was held in Zagreb 14. –16.2021. by The Union Of Croatian Innovators (UIH).
This year’s installment of the exhibition was traditionally supported by the Ministries of Economy and Sustainable Development; and Science and Education, the Croatian Chamber of Economy, the University of Zagreb and the Croatian Agency for SMEs, Innovation and Investments. Of special notice is that this year’s ARCA, although held in a somewhat reduced format, like the year before, still drew the attention of all national media. At the opening ceremony, Dr. Miljenko Simpraga, Vice-Rector for Innovations, Technology Transfer and Communications of the University of Zagreb, and the President of the Union of Croatian Innovators, underlined the necessity for the community of innovators, especially the R&D institutions, to pay more attention in the development of social inventions, in order to raise human behavior standards associated with answering the global challenges.
Having in mind that ARCA 2021 is listed as one of the Main IFIA Events, the number of presented innovations was significant, presented both by domestic Croatian inventors as well as international ones, mainly from Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Iran, Turkey, Northern Macedonia, China, and Poland. In total, around 200 innovations were exhibited.

The 6th International Inventions Fair – ISIF’21 was held from 21 to 26 September 2021, with the Honorary Patronage of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Industry and Technology, hosted by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TÜRKPATENT). Also, it was held under the international patronage of the International Federation of Inventors’ Association (IFIA), organized by the Anatolia Inventions and Inventors Association, supported by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and European Patent Office(EPO).
